Andy Williams established Williams Yacht Services in early 2009. Prior to setting up the company, Andy spent 2 years as Operations Director of international management house Hill Robinson based in Antibes.

Andy has been involved in the industry from the early stages of yacht regulation and, during his 7 years with Camper & Nicholsons before joining HR, was responsible for 'Thunder Gulch' becoming the first yacht in the world to be issued with a SMC (Safety Management Certificate) when ISM was introduced. He was also responsible for 'Lady Ann Magee' becoming the first UK flagged vessel of any type to be issued with an ISSC (International Ship Security Certificate). Andy was awarded his MBA by Warwick Business School in 2007. Andy can offer extensive seatime and command experience, having served as a Royal Navy officer before sailing with leading commercial Merchant lines including P&O Cruises, Stena Line and Gulf Offshore. He achieved his Master Mariner's ticket at age 34, before coming ashore to work at Lloyds Register in London in 1999.
